The beginning of the fall semester is just around the corner. Friday-Saturday, Saturday-only and Sunday classes begin Aug. 28 and Aug. 29. Weekday classes begin Aug. 30.

Here are some important dates you’ll need to know to stay on top of your classes this semester:

Aug. 20: Fall 2021 financial aid balance checks will be mailed or deposited by eRefund, starting Aug. 20 and then weekly thereafter.

Aug. 29: Last day for nonrestrictive registration. Last day to qualify for a full refund (minus a $10 fee) for those dropping all classes.

Aug. 30: Late registration and schedule adjustment (add, drop or swap classes or change grading basis) begin.

Aug. 30-Sept. 6: Wait-listing continues through Monday, Sept. 6. No permission is required to add classes (except for restricted classes).

Sept. 7-24: Permission is required to add all classes. Wait-listing is no longer available. Enrollments recorded by Sept. 24 are considered official.

Sept. 4-6: Labor Day holiday weekend — no classes in session.

Sept. 17: Last day to be eligible for a partial withdrawal refund.

Sept. 24: Last day of late registration. Last day to drop classes or change grading basis using self-service. Access to self-service registration ends except for adding with instructor permission. Learn more at Late Schedule Changes.

Oct. 1: 2022-23 Federal Student Aid and the California Dream Act application period begins.

Nov. 11: Veterans’ Day holiday — no classes in session. Classes resume Nov. 12.

Nov. 25-28: Thanksgiving Recess— no classes in session. 

Dec. 13: Last day of formal instruction.

Dec. 14-20: Final exams.

Dec. 23: Instructor’s grades due and last day of the semester.

Feb. 18, 2022: Last day to submit documents for Fall 2021 graduation.
