CSUN students usually have to wait until spring semester for the annual Associated Students’ “Big Show” music extravaganza, which takes over the University Library Lawn. But this year, the music arrived in the fall — Saturday, Oct. 11, to be exact. Galantis, aka Swedish electronic music producer Christian “Bloodshy” Karlsson, headlined and revved up the crowd with a range of techno, house music and more. Fun fact: as well as performing, Karlsson also has co-written and co-produced music with Katy Perry, Britney Spears and Madonna.
In addition to dancing throughout the afternoon, students enjoyed lawn games such as volleyball and cornhole, plus delicious treats from food trucks. Check out this memorable fall Big Show, in photos.
