After plane accidents and natural disasters, it’s normal to ask yourself what life would be like if you experienced a deep trauma, how it would impact your relationships and how you would move past it? Two CSUN emeritus professors look at how music can help get past trauma.
Henrick Minassians, who teaches in CSUN’s College of Social and Behavioral Sciences and is program director for the university’s Masters of Public Administration, delved into the challenges of zoning regulations, affordable housing and the socio-economic impacts of development choices, particularly in Los Angeles.
Offering a look into Los Angeles through his eyes, photographer and director Estevan Oriol will talk about his journey as an artist and his photography during a visit next week to California State University, Northridge.
Israeli-American journalist Asaf Elia-Shalev will discuss his most recent publication, “Israel’s Black Panthers: The Radicals who Punctured a Nation’s Founding Myth” on Tuesday, April 9, at California State University, Northridge.
