On Aug. 29, students, faculty and staff gathered at Bayramian Hall Lawn to ring in the academic year with music, food and outdoor games such as Jenga, Cornhole and Connect 4. Posted signs that said “Take a seat, get out of the heat” and “Mmm tacos,” enticed students to take a break and enjoy each other’s company.
