CSUN nursing student Daniela Muriel moved from Colombia to Los Angeles and became the first in her family to graduate from an American university.

Since 1995, K-12 students and teachers have published their research in The New Journal of Student Research Abstracts, created by Dr. Steven Oppenheimer who hopes of instilling a curiosity in science beyond the classroom.

The ceremony will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 14 from 5 to 8 p.m. The event begins with a brief dedication and ribbon cutting in Sierra Tower 404.

All film showings will take place on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. in the Armer Screening Room, located in Manzanita Hall.

CSUN’s new Director of Athletics, Ryan Swartwood, will be starting his new position Nov. 15. It’s a homecoming, of sorts, as he previously served as CSUN’s Associate Athletic Director for Administration and Interim Athletic Director.
