Wall Street Journal, Washington Monthly Recognize CSUN’s Transformative Impact

Two highly regarded college rankings placed California State University, Northridge among the national leaders for impact in the lives of students.

CSUN is one of the nation’s top 10 university’s for social mobility, according to the Wall Street Journal/College Pulse 2025 Best Colleges in the U.S. — ranking No. 9.

The WSJ/College Pulse 2025 Best Colleges in the U.S. ranking was developed in collaboration with research partners College Pulse and Statista.

Washington Monthly recently named CSUN the nation’s No. 4 master’s university based on contributions to the public good in social mobility, research and promoting public service. The publication also recognized CSUN as the No. 6 Best Bang for the Buck College in the West.
