The CSUN Men’s Basketball team is on fire this season, having won seven games in a row and 20 so far — just two short of the team’s all-time record for wins in a season, with four games to play before the Big West Conference postseason tournament.

The last win was pure drama, as the Matadors (20-7, 12-4 Big West) came from behind in the last minute of the game to beat UC Davis, 65-62. You can read all about it, but even better, there’s still time to catch the currently third-place Matador team at home Thursday against the Big West’s current No. 1 team, UC San Diego (24-4, 14-2 Big West).

CSUN also plays UC Santa Barbara and Hawaii at Premier America Credit Union Arena before they head off to Henderson, Nevada, next month for the Big West Men’s Championship and a shot at the NCAA March Madness tournament. Last year, the up-and-coming Matadors won their first Big West tournament game in 10 years.

Don’t forget, tickets are free for CSUN students, CSUN faculty and staff and alumni association members— get them online. Keep on eye on the CSUN Athletics’ Instagram for send-off celebrations. Go, Matadors!
