Weekday classes begin Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
Weekend classes begin Saturday, January 24. Sunday-only classes begin January 25.
January 19 — Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Campus offices are closed.
January 25 — Last day to wait-list for closed classes.
January 26 — Permission required to add classes.
February 6 — Last day for graduate students to drop classes online.
February 13 — Last day to file documents for fall 2025 bachelor’s graduation.
February 15 — Last day for undergraduate students to drop classes online.
February 16 — The fifth week of classes begins. Formal approval required to drop classes.
March 6 — Last day to apply for bachelor’s degree, fall 2026. Last day to apply for graduation, to participate in the spring commencement ceremony.
March 11 and March 12 — Get ready for commencement at GradFest at the Campus Store Complex.
March 16 to March 22 — Spring Recess, no instruction.
March 31 — Cesar Chavez Day. No instruction and campus offices are closed.
April 17 — Last day to add a class online with instructor permission.
May 2 and May 3 — Last weekend classes.
May 8 — Last day of formal instruction.
May 9 to May 15 — Finals week.
May 9 — Honors Convocation, 6 p.m., University Library Lawn.
May 15 to May 18 — Commencement ceremonies.
May 22 — Last official day, spring 2026 semester.
May 25 — Memorial Day. Campus offices are closed.
July 24 — Last day to file documents for spring 2026 bachelor’s graduation.
