
Finals are just around the corner, and so are the events and resources across campus aimed at giving you support—whether you need study supplies, a quick snack or a moment to decompress. Check out the options below to help you power through exams and end the semester strong.
The University Student Union’s Crunch Time is a campus tradition that offers a series of activities, food and giveaways designed to help you manage stress while you prep for finals.
The University Library also has de-stressing activities and extended hours for late-night study sessions. Follow the USU’s and the University Library’s Instagram pages to stay up to date on the end-of-semester events. In the meantime, here’s a quick rundown:
The East Conference Center in the USU has study space during USU building hours. Supplies, like pencils, pens and Scantrons, are available from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Fuel up with free food Dec. 9 through Dec. 11 in the USU’s Plaza del Sol at the following times:
Tuesday, Dec. 9, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Wednesday, Dec. 10, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Thursday, Dec. 11, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The University Library has extended hours, which are also listed on their calendar:
Dec. 8 to 18: 7 a.m. to 3 a.m.
Dec. 19: 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Build-your-own survival kit with stickers, snacks and highlighters— starts Dec. 8 (Pro tip: go early before supplies run out!)
Enjoy “Stress-less Station” tables, featuring coloring, puzzles and origami. You can also check out board games.

Dec. 25 through Jan. 1: Winter Recess. Campus offices are closed and will reopen, Jan. 2, 2026.
